Maleflixxx, Hot House Ink Digital Distro Deal

TORONTO — Gay video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx and gay production studio Hot House Entertainment have partnered for global digital distribution of Hot House product on various new media platforms, including online video-on-demand, TV, mobile, IPTV and others.

“We have been working closely with Hot House for several years to market their award-winning movies through our global network as well as providing a VOD theatre platform and building their brand,” President of Sureflixxx Digital Distribution Eric Johnson said. Sureflixxx operates the Maleflixxx network. “We are very proud to be expanding our partnership with Hot House to find even more ways to increase their visibility and market penetration,” Johnson said.

Hot House Entertainment, established in 1993 by producer/director Steven Scarborough after a long association with Falcon Studios, carries three distinctive lines, including Hot House brand, Club Inferno and Plain-Wrapped.

GAYVN Hall of Fame director Scarborough has produced several classic titles including “The Road Home,” “Descent, Call to Arms” and “Hand Over Fist.”

“In addition to generating new revenues for our content, Maleflixxx will provide content management, marketing, legal, business development and technical support,” Scarborough said. “It is a great partnership for us. We can keep our focus on producing the world’s best content and have confidence in knowing that there is a large team of digital specialists supporting us to find markets for that content.”

“The next few years will be critical for adult producers, as the marketplace shifts increasingly to an on-demand environment,” Scarborough said. “It is vital that we have a solid digital strategy and experienced partners who can help us maximize every opportunity available. We are confident in the business acumen of the Maleflixxx team to represent us in this arena.”
